Free Weekend Part 2- a Manly Day

Today a small group of us ventured over to Manly, an area about a half hour ferry ride from Circular Quay.  There, we layed out on the beach and went and played Frisbee in the shallow water of the ocean.  The ocean was so blue and clear and there were surfers taking advantage of the great weather (side note, I'm learning how to surf tomorrow; super excited!) We also checked out one of Manly's well-known microbreweries, 4 Pines.  Not too bad, although I'm not a huge fan of beer.

Unrelated: did you know?
-Bathing suits are called "cozi's"
-they sell the discontinued pretzel m&m's here!
-there are a TON of "VIP" lounges scattered around the city, i.e. bars with some shady business upstairs, but rest assured, since prostitution is apparently legal, all sex stuff is constrained to a tiny district called king's cross, which I have yet to visit
-Aussie's don't say "to go", they say "take away"
